I am a native to Washington State which has been a great blessing. The local schools, universities, and medical community in the Pacific Northwest have allowed me to receive a world class education while living close to my family.
While attending Seattle Massage School, I became interested in the theory and practice of natural medicine. It was in massage school that I learned about the bodies’ innate ability to heal and also discovered Naturopathic Medicine. I was so impressed with my introduction to natural medicine that I had to learn more. On my way to Bastyr, I earned a bachelor of science in Botany at the University of Washington (Go Huskies!). While at Bastyr University, I earned my doctorate degree of Naturopathic Medicine and a masters degree in Acupuncture. Following graduation I traveled to China to complete additional training and completed an internship at Reijin Medical Hospital of Shanghai.
I am a current member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians (WANP). Being passionate about learning and teaching, I have been a speaker at Evergreen Hospitals community outreach programs. And personally attend much more continuing education than is required to maintain a license to practice medicine. I have also been a diplomate with the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). I currently see men, women and children of all ages and practice Naturopathic Medicine, Acupuncture, and Crainiosacral Therapy.
I specialize in primary care, annual exams, digestive disorders, pain management, women’s health and preventative medicine.
My practice was in Woodinville, prior to moving to Old Town Mukilteo. I joined the clinic Specialty Natural Medicine in December 2011.
